The title of this chapter is obviously an homage to one of my favorite manga/anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist. I binged the original anime my junior year of college and then read the manga over the next several years. For as big a fan as I am, I have not yet watched FMA: Brotherhood, but hope to rectify that soon.
Although the alchemy in my series is quite different from that of FMA, there are subtle influences permeating throughout the book so far. Expect that to increase as the series progresses.
