Here begins a multi-chapter adventure for Jen as she tries to prove herself to Beatrice. The genesis of this Raid was from a woman with a very distinctive tattoo that I saw at a charity event several years ago. I don't actively go looking for real-life details to incorporate into my books, but instead like to see what comes my way by happenstance, whether it be an article or a random encounter.
Then I'll make a note of it in my notes file in Scrivener (the writing software I use to write my books), and review that from time-to-time to spark new ideas.
