Happy new year, everyone!
As I mentioned in my best of 2023 post (which you should totally check out if you haven’t already), I am going to be doing some re-imagining and re-invigorating of ARC Worlds for 2024.
While I have some ideas (as you’ll read below), your help would be greatly appreciated!
As a thank you (in advance), I’ve unlocked the remaining chapters of Guild of Magic, so you can read the entire book for free here.
Background
I put up all of my audiobooks for free on my YouTube channel over the summer.
ARC Worlds content
I serialized all of books 1 and 2 of the NYC Questing Guild series on ARC Worlds over the past two years. Given that Substack was not really developed for serial reading in mind, sometimes it’s hard to figure out from my stats how many people were reading the books via the weekly chapters.
In addition to fiction, ARC Worlds has featured my musings on entertainment/pop culture, the mostly-weekly Amazing Journey comics column (where I write about the comics industry writ large, interview comic creators, and give a behind-the-scenes look at creating a comic, and behind-the-scenes), and behind-the-scenes posts about being an indie author.
Going forward, I am aiming to do one post a week, with two Amazing Journey columns per month.

Other ideas
In an ideal world where I have a pocket dimension where I can spend unlimited time launching other features for ARC Worlds, which of the below ideas are you most interested in?
2024 Kickstarters campaigns
My plan for 2024 includes several Kickstarter campaigns for new entries in the NYC Questing Guild series and larger universe:
The Guild of Tokens spin-off comic is headlined by Jen’s morally gray mentor Beatrice and will follow her further adventures after book 2. More details coming soon, but I have dubbed this Project Plato, if you want to try to figure out what it’s about.
Guild of Magic: The Gauntlet is book 2.5 in the series (novella length) in which the Guild is holding a TriWizard Tournament-style competition to find a new Guild member. It will introduce several new POV characters and other groups/organizations vying for power in the city and the world.
Guild of Relics is book 3 in the series, and will follow the next part of Jen’s story.
As I can’t do a multi-choice poll, here is a follow-up question about your second most-anticipated campaign:
Thank you for your help in making ARC Worlds awesome for 2024! If you have any other feedback that doesn’t fit within these polls, please drop a comment or shoot me an email!
